Coorest NFTrees
They are non-fungible tokens linked to real-world trees. The NFTrees generate carbon tokens equal to the amount of carbon their real-life counterparts remove from the atmosphere. The holders of NFTrees will start collecting $CCO2 tokens the moment the tree is planted.

Types of NFTrees
Batch 1
Fruit-bearing NFTrees
Linked to fruit trees such as pomegranate and fig trees. These trees bear fruit that is sold to food markets. Holders receive rewards derived from the fruit sale. The fruit trees start bearing fruit three years after planting.
Batch 2
Forest NFTrees
Non-fungible tokens linked to real-world trees. They generate carbon tokens equal to the amount of CO2 their real-life counterparts remove. Holders start collecting $CCO2 tokens the moment the tree is planted.
Batch 3
Fruit-bearing NFTrees
Linked to fruit trees such as pomegranate and fig trees. The fruit is sold to food markets. The trees start bearing fruit three years after planting; rewards are shared with NFTree holders.

Collect your $CCO2 Tokens
The holders of NFTrees will start collecting $CCO2 tokens the moment the trees are planted and for 20 years. The amount of $CCO2 tokens received by NFTree holders will be proportional to the amount of CO2 absorbed by each real-life tree. $CCO2 tokens can be burnt for Proof of Carbon Compensation.
PoCC
Proof of Carbon Compensation
A Proof of Carbon Compensation certificate, or PoCC, is an NFT (ERC721) obtained when burning a $CCO2 token on the Coorest platform.
It is sent directly to the holder's wallet, and contains the date, the amount of CO2 compensated, the name of the person or business compensating their footprint and the reason for compensation.
The PoCC certificate guarantees the compensation of carbon emissions since the entry on the blockchain cannot be tampered with.
